Katrin brings with her a wealth of experience as a founder and an expansive international network. Her expertise in building strategic partnerships and implementation of unconventional scale-up strategies has helped both startups and institutions reach their growth and revenue goals.
Born in Estonia, Katrin Kaurov began her career as a professional fashion model at the age of 14 allowing her to work in 20+ countries by the time she was 21. While modeling Katrin built the app, Modelclub, that saved money for models in big cities. In two years, she took Modelclub from the initial concept to market launch becoming one of the most widely used apps in fashion. Inspired by that, she left the fashion industry and helped scale a venture-backed late stage fintech company by onboarding over 150 partnerships within a year and a half. After that, Katrin built Frich with her co-founder – a venture-backed social finance app that’s now popular with college students nationwide. Katrin has spoken about the topics of female entrepreneurship, fintech and building a startup at NYU, Columbia University and multiple podcasts.
Aleksandra brings with her a unique insight and understanding of the Gen Z customer by combining Frich’s access to quantifiable user data and her approach of collecting and synthesizing user feedback. With her technical and design background, she built a fintech app at the age of 22 and now leads a team of designers and developers, while working with financial institutions to further improve the financial tools and resources available to ambitious young people.
